Jingle bells! Jingle bells! The holiday season is upon us and the shopping lists are being created. Unless you’re an early shopper (unlike us!), you likely have a long list of clients and staff that need a little something that thanks them for their work throughout the year. Fruitcakes are passé so what do you get for the court reporter who has everything? Make them comfortable and filled with holiday cheer with these holiday gift ideas!
The temperature has cooled off and we’re trading our water bottles for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Your court reporter is working to get the last transcripts to you before the end of the year and could use a homemade treat!
We don’t think you need to make gifts yourself (who has the time!) but a bit of delicious holiday goodness would sweeten their mood especially if they’re on deadline for you!
The path of least resistance? Take advantage of vendor fairs. Support the local economy and the crafty people in your life by purchasing their ornaments, wreaths, and hot chocolate in a jar. You could also just give the local bakery a call and sweeten your court reporter’s day with holiday cookies that taste like they’re homemade.
Reporters spend a lot of time sitting which can wreak havoc on their bodies as well as their well-being. Make them feel comfortable when you get them lumbar support for their favorite office chair. Their back will thank you.
Remember the old commercial where the woman says, “Calgon, take me away!” That’s exactly what your reporter needs after a busy year of taking care of you and your clients. Treat them to a spa day or the newest trend in Chicago – float spas.
They may prefer a more traditional massage and mani/pedi or floating for 15-60 minutes in a sensory deprivation tank filled with water rich in detoxifying and relaxing magnesium.
Remember a relaxed reporter is a happy one!
