As many people may already know,
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Breast cancer can be traumatic to a woman’s health and life. The disease can negatively impact her time with family and friends, and her ability to be successful in the workplace.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) started as a way to promote the importance of early detection for breast cancer. BCAM’s purpose is to raise funds for the research, prevention, diagnosis, treatments, and cures that are vital in the fight against breast cancer.
To support the cause,
Depo International donated $5 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for every new deposition scheduled during the month of October.
The Susan G. Komen Foundation was the perfect foundation for Depo International to support. The foundation brings community awareness to the traumas of breast cancer, and it has financially supported the research, medical care, and psychosocial support of breast cancer since 1982.
